Promising thinner and lighter cellular phones, digital cameras, and so forth, the SD3112/3114/3118 series low-profile, RoHS-compliant inductors employ shielded drums and ferrite cores in packages measuring 3.1 mm x 3.1 mm. Despite their small size, the components handle current levels from 113 mA (220 µH) to 1.65A (1 µH). Higher current ratings are available in taller profiles of 1.4 mm (SD3114) and 1.8 mm (SD3118). The inductors are available on tape and reel with 4,100 parts per reel. For further information and pricing, call COOPER BUSSMANN ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGIES, Boca Raton, FL. (888) 414-2645.
