Shielded and non-shielded surface-mount power inductors developed by AVX Corp. feature the wide inductance range, low dc resistance, and high current values needed for industrial applications. The RoHS-compliant Lmax inductor series not only suits the industrial arena, but a range of consumer applications as well. Test and measurement and industrial process control are just two examples. They’re also specified for use in dc-dc converters, switching regulated power supplies, mobile phones, and computers, plus other peripheral and telecomm equipment. The Lmax inductors are currently in production; samples are available by request.
