Manufactured with a proprietary dielectric material and process, the TDFS8A-2450T-13A miniature bandpass RF filter for 2.450-GHz applications is reported as providing exceptional reliability and superior performance to wireless LAN designs. Specifically targeting at 2.450-GHz PCMCIA card applications, the filter is said to be 50% smaller than competitive products with a footprint of 3.2 mm x 3.0 mm and a low profile of only 1.8 mm maximum. Insertion loss is less than 2.0 dB and the average minimum attenuation of 40 dB at 1950.0 MHz.
