Although measuring just 0.64'' in diameter, T8 Series photoelectric sensors can detect objects as far away as 79'' in the opposed mode and either 2'' or 4'' in the diffused sensing mode, depending on model. The sensors require no adjustment to operate and offer users a selection of either a NPN (sinking) or PNP (sourcing) output capable of switching loads of up to 50 mA, as well as a models for either light operate (NO) or dark operate (NC).The visible-beam sensors require a 10-30 Vdc supply and contain protective circuitry that guards the units against reverse polarity and transient voltages. Other features include an ABS, IP67 and NEMA 6 rated housing and they are available with 6.5'' or 30'' prewired or 6'' pigtail pico-style, quick-disconnect cables. Prices start at $68 each.
