Miniature Trim Caps Suit Tuning Jobs

A series of trimmer capacitors is said to represent an advancement in miniaturized trimmers for applications where high Q and cost are critical. The 9450 Series trimmers are good candidates for uses in filter networks, crystal trimming, inter-stage coupling, impedance matching, and antenna tuning.The capacitors are available in five ranges of values from 0.6 to 2.2 pF to 5 to 18 pF. They offer a rated voltage of 250 vdc and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 85°C. Dimensions are 0.125" x 0.125" x 0.40" tall. The series is designed for use with the company's tuning tool, which allows trimming three to five times faster than other tools available, it's claimed.
