Said to be ideal for low-voltage DC and AC applications, and especially high-current apps, these positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistors boast of a compact design, flexible construction, and low thermal output. The thermistors use thin-chip, conductive polymeric materials to reportedly provide an accurate, reliable resettable fuse component. Operating temperatures range from -40°C to 85°C. Rated at 23°C, trip current is typically twice the value of hold current, with current thresholds reduced nearly 50% at 85°C and increased 150% at -40°C. Rated hold current values range from 0.08A to 14A with trip currents ranging from 0.2A to 23.8A. Maximum current capacity runs from 0.5A to 100A More details are available from.
