With a self-healing metallized film inside to prevent catastrophic, short-circuit failures, DM Series pulse discharge capacitors are designed for low repetition rate applications up to 3000V. Well-suited for pulsed solid-state lasers and other SCR- or IGBT-based pulse systems, the capacitors offer a design life rated voltage of > 1 x 108 charge/discharge cycles, or 25,000 hours of dc life with a capacitance tolerance of ±10%. Peak pulse current is 11.6 kA and 60 Arms. Performance ratings are 20% voltage reversal.
