RF/Microwave Caps Tout High Performance

Nov. 1, 2000
Said to be the industry's highest performance RF/microwave capacitors in an 0402 size package, the Accu-P Series thin-film capacitors are also the industry's only microwave capacitors with values down to 0.1 pF and with tolerances to ±0.01 pF.

Said to be the industry's highest performance RF/microwave capacitors in an 0402 size package, the Accu-P Series thin-film capacitors are also the industry's only microwave capacitors with values down to 0.1 pF and with tolerances to ±0.01 pF. The company's thin-film process uses low-loss silicon dioxide dielectric material in conjunction with highly conductive electrodes to produce devices with extremely low ESR at higher frequencies.
The 0402 Accu-P Series have capacitance values from 12.0 pF down to 0.1 pF with tolerances to ±0.01 pF (up to 5.6 pF); to ±0.1 pF (from 5.6 pF to 10 pF); and ±1% (higher than 10 pF).
The Accu-P Series also guarantees SRF, ESR and Q values through 2,400 MHz, the only microwave capacitor to provide this guarantee for the design engineer, the company says.Typical pricing for the Accu-P Series capacitors is approximately $0.19 each in quantity.
