Compatible with a number of industry-standard chipsets and said to be ideal as storage chokes in dc/dc converter designs, the 2400 and 2600 series of bobbin-wound inductors can be supplied with an integral ferrite shield for applications where EMI is a critical factor. They can be used in switching power supplies, power-line filters, and applications where high saturation currents and miniature footprints are required. They are available in values ranging from 10 to 680 µH, offer continuous dc-current ratings up to 2.65A, and have dc-resistance values as low as 0.05 ohms. Available in tape-and-reel format, pricing starts at $0.05 in OEM quantities.
