The high-current HC8LP surface-mount inductors sport a 3.5-mm high profile and offer a wide inductance range from 0.17 µH to 47.9 µH. Featuring a low-resistance, flat-wire construction, the components meet requirements for use with microprocessors, multi-phase buck regulator circuits, high-current dc/dc converters, PC workstations, routers, servers, telecom soft switches, and base stations. Operating current ranges from 1.8A to 29A with frequencies up to 500 kHz. The inductors are RoHS compliant and rely on high-temperature powder iron material and a non-organic binder to eliminate the effects of thermal aging.
