The new smaller series GMW and SMW surface-mount film capacitors use a "naked" construction to offer sizes down to 1812 for applications where stability or self-healing is required. Developed with a unique process, the new series of caps are said to be much less susceptible to moisture than other types and cannot delaminate.The film capacitors are offered in higher voltages, with their capacitance values ranging from 1000 pF to 1 µF in voltages of up to 630 vdc. In addition, the firm offers a line of encapsulated surface-mount film capacitors, including a model for use with high frequencies in voltages up to 1000 vdc.
