The 0603HC wire-wound, ceramic inductors have continuous current ratings of up to 2.4 Adc and can handle transient currents up to 50% higher. They are available with inductance ratings from 1.6 to 24 nH and, at low values, their Q factors are said to be higher than the company's existing 0603 chip coils. To assist engineers incorporate these components into their designs. PSPICE models and S-parameters that characterize performance at frequencies up to 6 GHz are available either from the company's website or on CD-ROM. In addition, a designer's kit (C139) containing all 11 inductance values is available. Price for a typical ±5% value is $0.29 each/10,000. COILCRAFT, Cary, IL. (847) 639-6400.
