Available in a 5.25" rack-mountable package, the WCL488-400-1000-12000 water-cooled load can handle up to 400 Vdc, 1,000A and up to 12,000W. Its full copper piping and variable flow control ensure no condensation and effective heat removal without additional air conditioning requirements.
The load is programmable via the front panel or via its IEEE-488 bus. It can be paralleled with slave units for maximum current and power handling capability of up to 10 kA and 120 kW. Regardless the number of units used, full-scale current is slewed in 100 µs without ringing or overshoots. Systems start at $13,000.
