The WXA-N2SL surface-mount polymeric ultra wideband (UWB) antennas suit up for optimum operation in the WiMedia Alliance UWB Band Group 1 (3.1 to 4.9 GHz) frequency band. They feature a filter-assist function to suppress out-of-band noise by 50% or more. Measuring 10 mm x 13 mm 1.2 mm, the components specify a VSWR of less than 2.5 from 3.1 to 4.9 GHz and greater than 6 from 7 to 11 GHz. Polarization is linear with a feed impedance of 50Ω. Price is around $3 each/100. OMRON ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS LLC, Schaumburg, IL. (847) 882-2288.
