The TEP-100 series of isolated DC/DC converter modules offers 100 W of output in industrial applications where PCB mounting is not an option. The converters feature a metal enclosure with four M3 inserts for attaching the converter to a chassis or heat sink. An optional chassis-mount adaptor with screw terminals greatly simplifies electrical installation. The series is comprised of 12 models offering 100 W of output power with input ranges of 18 to 36 or 36 to 75 V dc and outputs ranging from 5 to 48 V dc. All models feature 2250-V dc isolation; 92 to 93% operational efficiencies; -40°C to +105°C operating base-plate temperature; full load capability up to 60°C; voltage-trim function; remote-sense function; and remote on/off function. The wide input range combined with reverse input protection make these converters suitable for battery operated systems. They are also available with an ultra-wide 18-to-75-V dc input voltage range (TEP-75 series) and reduced output power of 75 W. The TEP-100 products are in full production with delivery from stock to six weeks. Pricing starts at $95.50 each in lots of 250. TRACO ELECTRONIC AG, Zurich, Switzerland. +41 43 311 4511.
