A new series of 10W dc/dc converters in single and dual output models incorporates low-switching noise techniques at their input and output sections. An output noise of 5 mVp-p is achieved via 250 mV, low dropout linear regulators, and a patented control circuit maintains a minimum constant dropout voltage over line/load temperature and the output-adjust range. The converters offer a 2:1 input voltage range with 3:1 and 4:1 available upon request. Standard features include an efficiency up to 86%, soft start, adjustable outputs, short-circuit protection, 1 mA off state current, a dual output tracking linear regulator, 5 µs transient response time, 6-sided shielding, and an industry standard pinout. Pricing is $42.80 for single-output and $44.90 for dual-output models in OEM quantities. BETA DYNE INC., Bridgewater, MA. (508) 697-1993.
