The KIQ025 series quarter-brick, intermediate dc/dc converter outputs 12V/25A with efficiencies up to 96%. Designed as a loosely regulated, isolated intermediate bus, it is a suitable power source for non-isolated POL converters, down streaming in a distributed-power architecture. The converter measures 2.3" x 1.45" x 0.43" and delivers up to 300W of power, which translates to a power density of 210W per cubic inch. With input voltages from 42V to 53V, it provides full power in temperatures up to 55°C with airflow of 200 LFM. Standard features include remote on/off, low ripple and noise, no minimum load requirements, 1.5 kVdc of isolation, and over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection. Price is $52.50 each/1,000. XPIQ INC., Holliston, MA. (508) 429-9883.
