By offering models with either a two-wire or three-wire ac input, and with each model capable of accepting voltages ranging from 90 to 264 Vac, the PSA-15LN series of 15W single-output switching power supplies can fit the needs of designers anywhere in the world. The three-wire version is for use in countries such as the U.S. that offer ground connections as part of the wall outlet, while the two-wire version is for countries with no ground connection. Ground leakage current is 750 µA for the former and less than 250 µA for the latter.
At 4.33" x 1.57" x 1.0" high, the open-frame 15W switchers are also very small, suiting them for use in portable instruments, peripherals, terminals, and microcomputers. Seven models spanning outputs of from 3.3V to 24V and with ±1% line regulation and ±3% load regulation are available.
PSA-15LN switchers boast of a very low conducted noise spec and also meet numerous international regulatory standards. Price: $15.75 each/100.
