An open-frame design with dual, low-voltage outputs allow the NLP70 Series of ac/dc power supplies to offer greater design flexibility. The 70W, triple-output NLP70 provides dual low-voltage outputs for powering logic and a single 12V output typically used to drive fans. It features a universal input range within harmonic current correction in a compact, low-profile package. By employing Dynamic Current Allocation, the device can provide up to 13A of output current on either the 5V or the 3.3V output, as long as the combined output does not exceed 15A. This feature affords designers greater flexibility in their choice of logic and provides a migration path for future designs, it's claimed. The supply is suited to networking applications that have a heavy logic content, such as access concentrators, mid-range routers, LAN switches and shared media hubs, as well a Fibre Channel applications. Housed in a 3" x 5.5" x 1.26" package, the supply is available in a triple-output model. Pricing is $67.00 each/100.
