The RoHS-compliant EUS34-096, a fixed 5:1 conversion ratio isolated dc/dc converter module, is designed for powering multiple downstream, non-isolated point-of-load (POL) converters in intermediate bus architecture (IBA) applications. It provides an input-to-output isolation up to 2.25 kVdc, allowing for the use of non-isolated POL converters rather than larger, more-expensive isolated devices. Features include an eighth-brick footprint, input voltage range from 38V to 55V, a maximum output power of 300W at 48V and a minimum 240W output at 38V input, both at +55ºC and with 200 LFM of airflow. Typical efficiency is 96%. The device measures 58.4 mm x 36.8 mm x 12.2 mm and operates over a temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC. Price is $46.55 each/100. C&D TECHNOLOGIES INC., Mansfield, MA.
