Supplied in an industry-standard 4.6" x 2.4" x 0.5" full-brick package with pinouts identical to those of the Lucent FW300 Series, the HD1-300 Series of high-density dc/dc converters provides 5V or 3.3V output at up to 60A. The devices are designed specifically for telecomm and datacomm applications and have an input voltage range of 36 to 75 vdc, with no minimum load requirement. Both the 3.3V and 5V models include integral under-voltage lockout and automatic under-voltage recovery. Additional safeguards include short circuit protection, over-voltage protection, and an internal thermal shutdown circuit with automatic recovery. Key features include a built-in EMI suppression filter, 1500V I/O isolation, frequency synchronization, CMOS/TTL-compatible remote shutdown with a choice of high or active low enable, and a logic-compatible Power Good signal. The converters operate at a fixed switching frequency of 400 kHz with 84% efficiency at nominal input and full load. Pricing for the HD1-300-3D and HD1-300-5D is $141.90 each/1000.
