The N-0275 series 275W switchmode power supplies feature digital power management and optional PMBus capability. Sporting a low profile, the supplies deliver 12.22W per cubic inch with an efficiency up to 90%. A microcontroller monitors dc voltage on the bulk capacitor, output voltage, output current, auxiliary 12V output voltage, transformer temperature, ambient temperature, and fan tachometer. It provides timing accuracies in the 1% range, is not affected by stored-charge memory, and responds to changing conditions 500 times per second with knowledge of the past without being slowed down by the analog memory. An optional I²C interface is available, allowing up to four N-0275 supplies to communicate over the same bus using the PMBus protocol. Other features include active power factor correction, or’ing diodes, active inrush current protection, and remote on/off. POWERSTAX NORTH AMERICA, West Boylston, MA. (508) 552-7108.
