The SSL20C family of 20W and the SSL40C 40W external power supplies employ the latest generation of switch-mode technology as an alternative to performance-limited linear units. Both families accept universal inputs from 90 Vac to 264 Vac and are housed in UL94V-0-rated plastic enclosures that measure 4.65" x 2.4" x 1.08". The SSL20C family provides up to 20W of continuous power and is available with a single dc output of 5, 12, 15, 18, 24 or 48V. With a 40W continuous output power, the SSL40C family provides single dc outputs of 12, 15, 18, 24 or 48V. Both families have a mean time before failure (MTBF) of 150,000 hours. Prices for the SSL20C and SSL40C are $21.49 and $23.35, respectively, each/1,000. ARTESYN TECHNOLOGIES, County Cork, Ireland. +353 24 25572.
