The AK45C is part of the company's high-efficiency dc/dc converter series that comes in an industry-compatible 1/4-size module with output current to 20A. While an expanded operating temperature range of -40¡C to +100¡C assures maximum reliability, the new single-output models also feature a transient response that provides stability in high-frequency applications, fixed switching frequency operation and no load/very high capacitive limits as well as additional characteristics found in more expensive devices. With a choice of output at 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5.0V, the units are available with a 48V input, making them suited for telecom/datacom applications as well as automated test and measurement equipment. The AK45C provides 100W of output power at up to 90% efficiency. Other features include predictable EMI performance and low output ripple and noise. Pricing is from $78 each/1,000.
