To reduce design time and costs, the company's filtering and active surge suppression module accommodates the rapid design of MIL STD power systems using economical industrial dc/dc converters. The DSF200LV, a 200W unit for use in 24V/28V power systems, enables system compliance with MIL-STD 461E CE102 and DEF STAN 59-41 DCE01/DCE02 for electromagnetic compatibility and MIL-STD 1275A/B and DEF STAN 61-5 Part 6 for surge and transient suppression. The module has an input-voltage range from 9V to 36V and is clamped at a maximum output voltage of 36V. It is rated at 7A continuous with a baseplate temperature from -40°C to +100°C. The filter is 92% to 98% efficient, provides low-loss reverse voltage protection and exhibits a series resistance of 0.26Ω. Price is $151 each/1,000. XP POWER, Littleton, MA. (978) 287-7260.
