The Hyper is a 130W isolated dc/dc converter targeted at high-performance distributed power applications, such as file servers, storage devices and workstations. Employing a vertical mount design for use with standard SIP 70-pin connectors, the Hyper power supply features a transient response time of up to 50A/µs from 0A to 40A and programmable outputs ranging from 1.5V to 3.3V at output currents up to 40A. According to the company, the Hyper delivers 13% more output current than competitive unitsÑsupplying 34A at 50¡C with an available airflow of 300 linear feet per minute. Additionally, the converter can be configured in parallel for true current sharing applications. Available now, the Hyper is priced at $60 each/1K.
