Enlarging the NV-family of configurable AC/DC power supplies is a range of models designed specifically for medical applications with a reinforced 4-kVac input-to-output isolation. The units meet IEC 60601 international safety standards for medical equipment, making them suitable for use in patient-connected medical applications. The NV-175M power supplies include PFC and specify efficiencies up to 90% and output power of 180W continuous, 200W peak. Four standard models are available, and many custom configurations are an option having one to three outputs with available output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V and 24V (adjustable to 28V). No minimum loads are required. Operating input voltage range is from 90 to 264 Vac at 45 to 63 Hz, and the supplies measure about 1.3" x 3" x 5" without cover or fan. Available now, prices start at $126 each/100. LAMBDA, San Diego, CA. (800) 526-2324.
