Two families of external desktop switchmode power supplies have been developed for use in medical applications. Housed in low-profile ABS plastic cases, the convection cooled switchers have regulated voltage outputs and are available in 24W up to 60W configurations. Universal input of 90-260 Vac, 47-63 Hz, and outputs of 12, 15, 24 and 30Vdc are available. All designs are approved to UL 2601.1, CSA (cUL 601.1), NEMKO EN60601.1 & CE. Designs were tested for EMC compliance. In addition to medical equipment, the supplies are also suited for use with portable equipment, communications equipment, power tools, and more.
