With a standard footprint of only 1" x 0.4" x 2", the i3 Series of compact, 3W, high-isolation dc/dc converters with single or dual outputs is said to economically replace three conventional converters. The device features a very wide input range of from 9 to 72 vdc and handles 12V, 24V, 32V, or 48V nominal inputs. Other key features include efficiency rating of better than 70%, dc output of 3W max., no external components necessary, and overload protection. The devices are suitable for high reliability telecomm, industrial process control, IT equipment, distributed power systems, or anywhere a very wide input range is required. OEM pricing for the converters, which are available in 12 models, ranges from $16.50 to $20.50 each.
