POL Converters Embark In iLGA Formats

March 1, 2011
The OKL-T/1-W12 Series point of load (POL) dc/dc converters feature an inspectable land grid array (iLGA) format, a package design that allows easy access for testing and inspection of the solder joints.

The OKL-T/1-W12 Series point of load (POL) dc/dc converters feature an inspectable land grid array (iLGA) format, a package design that allows easy access for testing and inspection of the solder joints. The components deliver a maximum 1A output current with a nominal 12V input voltage, across an input voltage range of 2.9 to 14 Vdc. They measure 12.4 mm x 12.4 mm x 4.57 mm maximum. Other features include a fixed-frequency synchronous buck converter switching topology, programmable output voltage from 0.9 to 5.5Vdc, On/Off control, under-voltage lock out, output short-circuit protection, and over-current protection.
