A new high-power-density polymer battery is hailed as the solution for next-generation OEM/ODM applications. The EasyPack lithium-polymer battery is a fully integrated, design-in system for portable electronic devices that require user removable or rechargeable lithium-polymer batteries. Designed as a complete, off-the-shelf battery, EasyPack gives original equipment manufacturers an easy-to-integrate, design-in solution. The EasyPack includes the battery pack, charging algorithms and EasyPack Evaluation Kit, including charging reference design. Additionally, the company can direct users to its partner organizations for information on connector fittings and external chargers. This product is UL and CE certified and lets manufacturers use a standardized battery, connector and charger configuration. EasyPack 3.7V, Li-ion batteries come in four different sizes. Type 1 measures 64.5 mm x 36.6 mm x 5.2 mm and delivers 750 mAh. Type 2 measures 64.5 mm x 36.6 mm x 6.4 mm and delivers 1,000 mAh. Type 3 measures 64.5 mm x 36.6 mm x 11.4 mm and delivers 2,000 mAh. And the most compact version, Type 4, measures 43.5 mm x 35.4 mm x 5.8 mm and delivers 550 mAh.
