The RVN Series rectifiers provide up to 120A at 24 vdc or 60A at 48 vdc from a 2U, 19" shelf adaptable to a 23" shelf. The shelf holds up to three hot-swappable rectifier modules, each producing up to 40A at 24 vdc or 20A at 48 vdc. Each module is self-cooled by two fans and has an ORing diode to permit quick replacement while operating. The modules have a voltage adjustment of 20 to 29 vdc or 40 to 58 vdc that can be done remotely or at the front panel. Power density is 6.1W per cubic inch, with the unit's efficiency pegged at 87%. Inputs are universal ac with PFC, holding THD to less than 5%. Applications are wireless and landline telecomm systems. The rectifier modules cost $650 each and the shelves, $520.
