DOSA-compliant, the SSQE48T25033 sixteenth-brick dc/dc converter provides a 3.3 Vdc output at 25A with 100% of full-rated power available at 55°C and 22A at 70°C with 200 LFM of airflow. With a regulation of ±3% combined line, load, and

DOSA-compliant, the SSQE48T25033 sixteenth-brick dc/dc converter provides a 3.3 Vdc output at 25A with 100% of full-rated power available at 55°C and 22A at 70°C with 200 LFM of airflow. With a regulation of ±3% combined line, load, and temperature, the component specifies efficiencies up to 93%, making it viable for use as a DPA or IBA power source. Other features include the ability to withstand a 100V input transient for 100 ms, a 36 to 75 Vdc input range, the ability to start up into pre-biased loads, and no minimum-load operation. Protection features include hiccup-mode over current, output over voltage, input under-voltage lockout, and over-temperature shutdown. Interface and trim capabilities include remote sense, remote ON/OFF (positive or negative logic option), and +10%/-20% output voltage trim ranges with industry-standard trim equations. Measuring 22.9 mm x 33 mm, price for the SSQE48T25033 is $32 each/1,000. POWER-ONE INC., Camarillo, CA. (866) 969-3438.
