Tailored to standby-mode power applications, the Bias Power BPS series switching power supply allows users to quickly comply with Energy Star and other green 1W standby-mode requirements in appliances and consumer electronics. Available in either 0.5W or 1W models, the supply operates with a nominal efficiency of 75% efficiency and measures 1" x 0.875" x 0.5". Other features include a no-load power consumption of less than 30 mW and the ability to handle wide load variations. Applications include powering remote and networked sensors, power-line carrier, relay drivers, test equipment, IR receivers, building automation, audio, video, security, ac-power adapters, and bias supplies.
