Adding a touch of versatility to the LP25 and LP40 switching power supply families is a terminal block connector option, which provides a connection for both ac inputs and dc outputs. Single- and triple-output models across the two families sport a 3" x 5" footprint and deliver from 25W to 55W of power, depending on the model and whether the units are convection or forced-air cooled. All models provide universal inputs from 85 to 264 Vac, adjustable outputs, remote sense, EMI filtering, and overload, over-voltage and thermal protection. Other features include an operating temperature range from 0°C to 50°C without derating. The LPS models function up to 70°C by derating the output 2.5% per 1°C. Samples are available now with prices starting at $25 each in OEM quantities. The terminal block option can be specified using a T suffix on the model number, i.e., LPS42-T.
