Providing a broad input range from 6.5V to 24V, the FAN21SV06 single-supply 6A synchronous buck regulator integrates a controller, driver, and power MOSFETs in a 5 mm x 6 mm MLP. Delivering an efficiency up to 95%, the regulator features a pre-bias startup to regulate the output-capacitor discharge during soft-start conditions. It also packs a suite of protection features including soft start, under-voltage lockout, thermal shutdown, plus over-voltage and over-current protection.
