With power densities of over 9 W/in.3, the CFP500 bulk power system and CDP500 rectifier both can provide 500 W of output in a low-profile enclosure. The CFP500 is for distributed power applications requiring a 48-V front end, while the CDP500 rectifier offers a −54-V dc output suited for battery charging and telecom uses. Both accept input voltages from 90 to 264 V ac with active power correction. Standard features include active current sharing between units, hot-swapping, and no minimum load. Prices for both run as low as $342 each in lots of 1000. Production volumes are available in 10 to 12 weeks.
