Promoting miniaturization and safe charging control for portable equipment, the R2A20055NS charging control IC enables USB charging and includes functions that implement the charging profiles stipulated by JEITA. The device provides control pins for each block to limit the input current. Current limit options are 100 mA, 500 mA, or no limit, allowing it to perform battery charging according to the USB power available. Input pins can withstand voltages up to 25V.
