Equipped with a built-in electromagnetic-interference (EMI) filter, the PPS40/65 series converter features 40-W convection, 65 W with 15-CFM forced air. The device has a universal input range of 90 to 264 V ac (47 to 63 Hz). EMI is FCC, CISPR 22, and EN55022 class B conducted. Typical inrush measures 30 A for cold start at 25°C, 115 V ac at full load, and typical efficiency is rated at 65% to 80%. Hold-up time is 10 ms typical at full load and 115 V ac at nominal line. In addition to overload and short-circuit protection, the PPS40/65 series features overvoltage protection on the main output that's 20% to 40% above the nominal output. Ripple and noise measure ±1% maximum at full load. Also, the series is available with multiple-output configurations. The single-output PPS40/65 is priced at $20.82 each in quantities of 1000 units.
