The H-grade version LTC3872 550-kHz fixed frequency step-up dc/dc controller operates over a -40°C to +150°C junction temperature range with a 2.5V to 9.8V input voltage range.

The H-grade version LTC3872 550-kHz fixed frequency step-up dc/dc controller operates over a -40°C to +150°C junction temperature range with a 2.5V to 9.8V input voltage range. It delivers an output voltage as high as 60V without need of a sense resistor. Other features include an adjustable current limit, pulse skipping at light load, internal soft-start and optional external soft-start, a ±1.6% reference-voltage accuracy, current-mode control, and thermally-enhanced 2 mm x 3 mm DFN-8 and ThinSOT packages.
