Half Bridge Chipset Fuels 200 kHz Apps

Nov. 1, 2003
For applications up to 200 kHz and 575V, the IXBD4400 half-bridge driver chipset delivers up to 2A of peak drive current in a 16-pin SOIC-CT package with an operating temperature to 125°C. The package houses the IXBD4410 low-side driver, IXBD4411

For applications up to 200 kHz and 575V, the IXBD4400 half-bridge driver chipset delivers up to 2A of peak drive current in a 16-pin SOIC-CT package with an operating temperature to 125°C. The package houses the IXBD4410 low-side driver, IXBD4411 high-side driver, and the TX02-4400 interface transformer. The two driver chips exhibit a noise immunity of 50 V/ns while the interface transformer provides up to 2.5 kV of isolation. The chipset is available as a modular component or in separate packages. The transformer is available in an eight-pin plastic DIP in either surface-mount or through-hole versions. The driver ICs are available in a 16-pin plastic DIP or a 16-pin heat-sinkable, non-isolated surface-mount SOIC. IXYS CORP., Santa Clara, CA. (408) 982-0700.
