Low power consumption in standby mode and excellent noise ripple rejection characteristics are said to be hallmarks of an expanded range of low drop-out voltage regulators. The BA000LBSG regulators are offered in output voltages from 2.8V to 5V, in increments of 100 mV, and with tolerance of 2.5%. The devices are rated for minimum current of 150 mA with typical output of 280 mA. Package power dissipation for the SOT-23 devices is 170 mW maximum, making them suitable for portable applications. A logic-controlled standby pin turns off the output to that part of the circuit and reduces quiescent current to less than 10 µA (typically just 0.1 µA).
