The BVL series of two-stage lead-acid battery chargers guards against the memory effect to extend battery life in home health care, industrial, and telecom equipment. The chargers' automatic voltage switchover circuitry senses battery current, drives it to a predetermined level, and then transfers charge from fast to float. Charging voltages range from 7.35 to 29.40 V (fast) and 6.90 to 27.60 V (float). Constructed in an impact-resistant polycarbonate case, the units measure 4.20 by 2.60 by 1.46 in. and weigh 10 oz. In 1000-piece quantities, pricing is less than $20.
