Available in 24V to 48V, 48V to 24V and 48V to 130V versions, Series 1625 modular dc-to-dc converter systems let users avoid the expense, size and maintenance of a second rectifier/battery plant in equipment sites needing multiple dc voltages. Well suited for a wide variety of telecommunication applications, such as cell-site, PCS and fiber-optic broadband uses, this high-power converter shelf/module system features two to three times greater power density than most previously available converters, it's claimed. This rack-mount converter shelf occupies only 7" of vertical rack space and allows wiring connections from the front. The 23" shelf accommodates up to four of the 1000W converter modules. Up to three 1000W modules can fit in a 19" shelf.
