Expanding the company's line of HEXFET power MOSFETs for the automotive market, twenty new devices feature 10% lower on-resistances than previous devices. As an example, the IRFU3504 has an on-resistance of 9.2 milliohms. The lower resistance values are said to be responsible for a boost in efficiency, particularly in emerging 48V and also in current 14V automotive sub-systems. These include cooling fan controls, electrical power steering and other applications. Depending on the part number and package, voltage ratings range from 30V to 75V, maximum current ratings range from 25A to 240A, and on-resistances range from 3.3 milliohms to 37 milliohms. Also depending on the device, standard and logic-level gate threshold voltages are available. Packages include D-PAK, I-PAK, TO-220, TO-262, and D2PAK. Pricing begins at $0.849 each/10,000.
