Generating 2W of power and using a special suite of design features such as stereo driver stages for speakers and headphones, internal dc volume control, bass boost, and docking stations/line level outputs, the LM4835 Boomer audio power amplifiers include a shutdown mode that reduces power consumption to a typical 0.7 µA to extend operating time in battery-powered systems. This device has circuits to suppress pops and clicks often associated with turn-on and turn-off and operates without the aid of bootstrap capacitors or snubber networks.
