Designed to interface with all popular PC card controllers, such as those from Cirrus Logic and Texas Instruments, the MIC2564A is a fully integrated power serial controller that supports 3.3V, 5V and 12V power distribution for PC cards. The MIC2564A-1 logic option offers independent control of VPP and VCC power states for increased flexibility when used with newer PC card controllers. The MIC2564A-0 is compatible with current as well as previous PC card controllers with serial power control interfaces. The on-resistance of the 3.3V and 5V power FETs is 120 milliohms and 150 milliohms, respectively. The low on-resistance supports PC card power distribution circuits that use 3V power supplies.
