Designed for use in low-voltage applications, the NTDxxNxxR n-channel power MOSFETs reportedly improve switching efficiency by up to 40%. The 24V and 25V devices are designed for synchronous buck converter circuits and point-of-load (POL) converters.

Designed for use in low-voltage applications, the NTDxxNxxR n-channel power MOSFETs reportedly improve switching efficiency by up to 40%. The 24V and 25V devices are designed for synchronous buck converter circuits and point-of-load (POL) converters. Employing proprietary planar process technology, the 15 FETs provide on-resistances ranging from 3.7 m? to 70 m? at VGS = 10V and 4.7 m? to 18.6 m? at VGS = 4.5V. Other features include total gate charge (QG) as low as 8.4 nC and a gate voltage rating of 20V, said to improve device ruggedness. Depending on part number, the power MOSFETs are available in Dpak, D2Pak, and TO-220 packages. Pricing ranges from $0.42 to $0.80 each/10,000. ON SEMICONDUCTOR, Phoenix, AZ. (800) 282-9855.
