Claiming position as the industry's first 30V power MOSFETs specified for gate drives down to 2.5V, the Si7404DN, Si3434DV, and Si6404DQ are designed for battery charger switching and protection applications in portable electronics. The Si7404DN measures 10.56 mm2 and 1.07 mm high in a PowerPAK 1212-8 package and provides an on resistance of 22 m½ at 2.5V gate drive. Available in a TSOP-6 measuring 8.69 mm2, the Si3434DV provides an on resistance of 50 m½ at 2.5V. And the Si6404DQ, measuring 20.46 mm2 in a TSSOP-8, offers an on resistance of just 14 m½ at 2.5V of gate drive. Prices range from $0.26 to $0.68 each/100,000.
