Requiring a minimum supply voltage of just 0.4V, the TPS310x family of processor supply-voltage supervisors are said to be the industry's first true sub-1V devices that meet the low-voltage needs of portable applications. They monitor supply voltages from 0.55V to 3.3V and guarantee a valid reset pulse.Other features include a typical supply current of 1.3 µA and a trip-point accuracy of ±0.75%. Three devices in the family, the TPS3103, 3106 and 3110, offer options that include open drain and push-pull reset outputs, sense inputs, watchdog timer inputs, power fail inputs, and more. In SOT23 packages, the ICsÕs price starts at $0.86 each/1,000. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC., Santa Clarita, CA. (800) 477-8924.
